10. User test #3 Preparation for launch

We want to make absolutely sure that our new tool satisfies the needs of users worldwide. So we perform one final user test. The test is performed with about 200 tools. Afterwards, our ergonomists evaluate user feedback on the tool's performance and handling over an extended period of time. If this final test shows that the tool works as it should, the tool is approved for mass production and marked with our Ergo symbol.

While the test is under way, we prepare for the tool's launch by producing a demonstration pack for sales representatives. We decide on the design of the packaging and produce printed promotional material, advertising and press releases.

The entire process of tool development, from specification to approval, lasts between two and three years.
